LPU-MANILA TOPS NATIONAL BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIP
Kevin Israel Fortu, a Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate of the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila campus, and now a Barista at Craft Coffee Workshop, bagged the First Philippine National Barista Championship title, and will officially represent our country in the forthcoming World Barista Championship in Melbourne, Australia.
Another LPU-Manila contestant, Aldrin Lumaban, a student in Cruise Line Operations with specialization in Culinary Arts, won the Bronze in the same Championship which was participated by 15 of the country's finest Baristas and coffee professionals.
